Overview

This 60-minute session will answer questions from CONTINUUM users to better optimize their assessment delivery and increasing their understanding of the assessment.

This will be a new, regular opportunity to interact with CONTINUUM and CO-Triage experts. It is one hour-long, user-driven Q&A session on CONTINUUM and CO-Triage. Current users will have the opportunity to pose your questions and to enhance their knowledge of CONTINUUM from our trainers and other CONTINUUM users. 

Please complete the short registration questions and submit your questions in the free text box. The box allows you to enter multiple questions. Please note, this session will address questions about the assessment itself. Questions about your assessment protocol or related policies should be directed to your agency or supervising entities.  

The target audience for this introductory level course includes CONTINUUM or CO-Triage users who are: counselors, social workers, administrators, and other clinical staff.

This activity addresses the following ACGME Competencies: Patient Care and Procedural Skills, Medical Knowledge, Practice-Based Learning and Improvement, Systems Based Practice.

  1. Describe clinical approaches for streamlining the assessment for greater efficiency.
  2. Discuss current user challenges and solutions.

Refunds & Cancellations

All ASAM eLearning Center refund requests must be made in writing to Education@ASAM.org within 90 days of purchase. Those requesting refunds for courses that are in progress will receive partial refunds or eLearning Center credit. Automatic full refunds will be made for any course with a live-course component that has been cancelled.

Michelle Niculescu

LPC

Michelle has been working in the field of addiction for over 20 years, Michelle dedicates her career to taking a translational approach to addiction medicine. Her work spans from the molecular underpinnings of addiction to behavioral interventions. 

Her endeavors include basic science laboratories, clinical psychology, higher education, and counseling. She currently works as a Clinical Algorithm Scientist for ASAM.  

Michelle earned her doctorate in pharmacology from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and her MA in clinical mental health counseling from University of the Cumberlands. She is a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. She resides in Pittsburgh with her 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 1 husband. She enjoys running and yoga.

Jihan Judeh

LMFT

Jihan is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 51292 CA), who has worked in the mental health field for over 16 years, with the last 11 years focused primarily on addiction treatment. She has served as both a Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisor for different levels of care that implemented the ASAM Criteria including Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient and Residential treatment services. Through her work in addiction treatment, Jihan has seen the importance of meeting clients where they are in their recovery journeys and treating the whole person and not just the addiction. 


In addition to being a member of ASAM, Jihan is also a member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists). She was a contributing member to The ASAM Criteria 4th Edition, working on the Treatment Planning Writing Committee as well as serving as a Dimensional Admission Criteria Case Tester. Jihan currently provides telehealth mental health services to couples and individuals while also serving as a faculty for ASAM.

Jihan earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 2007 and became a licensed therapist in 2012. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, particularly enjoying boating and camping with her family.
