Activity Overview
The Fundamentals of Addiction Medicine ECHO (FAME) series is a 16-week video conference series for primary care physicians and clinicians that addresses various topics in the field of addiction medicine. The ECHO video conferencing model is used to connect participants with a panel of multi-disciplinary addiction experts. Sessions are 2 hours each. The first 30 minutes is devoted to a didactic presentation on a featured addiction related topic. See below for a link to view a complete list of dates and topics as they become available.
FAME Itinerary
- The current iteration of FAME will run May 18, 2021 - August 31, 2021 and will be held each Tuesday from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Eastern).

Session Information
You will receive emails each week with log-in details and materials for each session (please email asamecho@asam.org if you are not receiving the emails). A link to the CME evaluation for that session will be given to all attendees at the conclusion of each session (and can be accessed through the "Content" tab), which must be completed within 72 hours.
Note: Session attendance and case presentations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please email asamecho@asam.org to make alternative arrangements if you are unable to attend the sessions on the designated dates and times. Please note, that efforts will be made to held each 16-week iteration on a different day/time to better accommodate all participant schedules.
